About Gateway Communications

For over 25 years, Gateway Communications has been providing clients around the world with proven telemetry solutions. Gateway designs, manufactures and integrates wireless end-to-end solutions that allow their clients to locate, monitor, sensor and control their remote assets.  The principals of Gateway have own and operated broadcast AM/FM stations, newspapers publications and radio communications companies in the United States and Mexico for over 40 years.

Gateway Communications, Inc. is a privately held Arizona corporation that incorporated in 1993.  Gateway was previously known as Rowley Communication Corp. (1984-1994), which owned and operated over 100 SMR 800MHz channels in Southern Arizona and 10 concession 800MHz channels in the seven North Pacific states of Mexico known as ALTACOM.

In 2005, Gateway merged with a sister company called LOCSYS, INC. (Location Systems).  LOCSYS was a corporate renaming of Bitronic, Inc., which developed its first tracking solution for the US Forestry in 1983 using Lorain-C for planes used in fighting forest fires in the Northwest region of the US.  Also Bitronics provided many of the tour and medevac helicopter companies in Hawaii and Arizona.

Gateway has worked with a large array of different radio platforms such as unlicensed spectrums, two-way radio protocols, cellular formats, microwave and satellite for small to large companies such as the US Department of Defense's Department of Testing, Panama Canal's ground security & government motorcades, two Venezuela trucking associations working with the country owned coal mines and the Egyptian Air Force for tracking student pilots.  Gateway has also provided wireless systems to companies in other countries such as Ghana, Trinidad & Tobago and Mexico along with the United States.
